The Chelsea Flower Show is a flower exhibition known worldwide. And as its name suggests, it's a real show mixing colours and scents that you'll discover at this grand event that has endured since 1913!

What is the Chelsea Flower Show?
Organised by the Royal Horticultural Society, responsible for promoting gardening in England and Europe, the Chelsea Flower Show is one of the world's biggest horticultural events. Taking place over five days during the month of May, the event unveils more than 11 hectares of gardens designed for the occasion. The best gardeners are rewarded there for their creations.
This remarkable flower exhibition is divided into several parts, each with its own objective. You'll discover a garden bringing together the most original plants, another revealing the latest innovations in landscaping, yet another specific to plants that can be arranged on a balcony, right in the city centre. The big names in horticulture will be present and will show you the latest scientific discoveries in this field and their latest creations. It's both a very interesting place that reveals everything that can be done today in terms of gardening, but also an inspiring place for those looking to design a garden!
More than 150,000 visitors crowd each year in the flowery and green alleys of the Royal Hospital Chelsea estate, in one of London's most prestigious districts. You'll even have the opportunity to take home some plants, among those that you liked the most!
Where does the Chelsea Flower Show take place?
The exhibitions take place on the Royal Hospital Chelsea estate, located less than 20 minutes' walk from London Victoria station.
Chelsea is one of the chic districts of the English capital. It's located in West London and is characterised by its beautiful pastel-coloured houses, of Georgian and Victorian type. A quiet and charming neighbourhood where you might bump into a star or two, since many of them have settled here, away from the hustle and bustle of central London.
The Royal Hospital Chelsea was built in 1682 and has an 11-hectare park ideal for hosting all the plants of the Chelsea Flower Show. Originally, the building is a hospice for UK veterans. It still houses more than 300 military personnel today, but it's open for visits for those who wish to discover it.
