1. Vert Lodge Chamonix
Category: Favorite / Good value / Prestige / Unique / Affordable.
Let's start this selection with the most affordable establishments: youth hostels. The Vert Lodge is a comfortable hostel located about 1.5 km from Chamonix center, near the pretty Gaillands lake. You can choose between mixed dormitories of 4 to 6 beds with shared bathrooms or private rooms. A great place to meet other travelers who came to enjoy the joys of the mountains!

2. RockyPop Chamonix – Les Houches

3. Hotel Lyret 3 *** (formerly Les Gourmets)

If you prefer a more traditional chalet atmosphere, the hotel les Gourmets has just had a makeover to reopen in December 2024 under the name of hotel du Lyret, freshly renovated. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and offer lovely views of the river or if you're lucky of Mont Blanc!

4. Auberge du Manoir 3 ***

The auberge du manoir welcomes you in an authentic and warm setting just steps from Chamonix city center. Located in a renovated old Savoyard farmhouse, it's the ideal place to stay to discover traditional wooden architecture and experience the typical atmosphere of the region.

- No restaurant
- Limited accessibility: The establishment doesn't have an elevator, which can pose difficulties for people with reduced mobility.

Grand Hotel des Alpes
