Reunion Island is full of breathtaking postcard-worthy landscapes. On this island 75 kilometers long and 51 kilometers wide, you'll find two volcanoes, one of which is still active. 1- Go hiking at Piton de la Fournaise

Description: A trip to Reunion Island cannot be concluded without visiting at least one of the two volcanoes that overlook the "Intense Island". Piton de la Fournaise is the only volcano still active in the territory. With an eruption every 9 months, it's one of the most active volcanoes in the entire world. During nearly 5.5 hours of hiking accompanied by a guide, you'll discover picturesque landscapes and ancient lava flows still present on the slopes. Depending on the weather, you'll have the opportunity to climb up to Dolomieu crater. It's possible to do this activity off the traditional trails.
