What to do in Florence?

1. The Cathedral Santa Maria Del Fiore

The Cathedral Santa Maria Del Fiore or more commonly called the Duomo, is the most popular attraction for tourists. And why? Good to know: Open all year except religious holidays, it is possible to visit the Duomo from 8:30 AM until 7:00 PM Monday to Friday, but also from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, and from 1:00 PM on Sunday until 4:00 PM. Our advice? Come in late afternoon, when the sun is about to set...MAGNIFICO!

2. The Galileo Museum

Good to know: Wednesday to Monday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and Tuesday from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM. One of the objects to discover at all costs? The telescope that Galileo used to see Jupiter's satellites and lunar mountains in 1609.

3. The Basilica Santa Croce

4. The Bargello Museum

Good to know: Monday to Friday from 8:15 AM to 1:50 PM, and Saturday from 8:15 AM to 1:50 PM, towards the Proconsolo district. Some works that have touched the sensitivity of the greatest art lovers, and much more can be found in this place: among others, Bacchus by Michelangelo, and David by Donatello.

6. Strolling on the Ponte Vecchio
