1- Visit the Duomo Cathedral

The Duomo Cathedral, emblem of the city of Milan, is one of the most important religious buildings in Italy and all of Europe. The Duomo Cathedral is the third largest church in the world, just behind the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the See in Seville and obviously St. Peter's Basilica located in Rome and more particularly in Vatican City. The construction of this Gothic-style cathedral began in 1386. 506 years later, in 1892, the construction of the Duomo Cathedral finally ended, before being renovated in 1965. Located on Piazza del Duomo, Milan's central square, this imposing cathedral is a must-see when visiting the Lombard capital. Through this visit, you'll have the opportunity to learn about the history of Saint Ambrose, bishop of Milan from 374 to 397, who left an indelible mark on the city of Milan. Contemplate the cathedral's stained glass windows, explore the 27 rooms that make up this building and admire the view over all of Milan by going to the Duomo Cathedral terraces. However, it's important to note that proper attire is required to visit this holy place, and any outfit deemed extravagant is strictly forbidden, under penalty of being refused entry.

In Italy, football is a true religion, and probably even more so in Milan. The city is home to two world-renowned clubs: AC Milan and Inter Milan. The two teams have the particularity of sharing the same stadium. When AC Milan plays at home, the stadium is called San Siro, the neighborhood where the stadium is located. On the other hand, when Inter Milan plays, the stadium takes the name Giuseppe Meazza, in reference to a former Italian player, double world champion in 1934 and 1938. Call it whatever you want, but this stadium is the largest in Italy with a capacity of 80,018 seats. Its atmosphere can be found nowhere else, and you can feel all the fervor of the Italian people when it comes to football. Whether you like the beautiful game or not, you'll have a unique experience. If you're simply planning to visit the stadium, you'll have access to the players' locker rooms, the San Siro museum, the tunnel through which players enter, and the steep stands that give this stadium its charm.

3- Discover Milan through the Navigli canals

Board a small electric boat to discover Milan in a different way. You'll navigate on the Navigli canals, which allowed reaching Milan either via the Ticino, a Swiss and Italian river, or via the Adda, another river, this time from Lombardy.
