1- The lakes

If there's one thing you're going to see in Switzerland, it's lakes! The country has nearly 1,500 of them, spread across its entire territory! Beautiful places to visit in Switzerland.

The best known, and the largest in Europe for that matter, is Lake Geneva. With an area of more than 580 km², it's ideal for many activities, including swimming, hiking and water sports.
