Consequently, it is one of the most important and most visited places in the entire country: it consists of several pavilions that are inhabited notably by temples and courtyards. If you have questions about the dimensions of this gigantic edifice, know that it spreads over more than 29 hectares, with walls of nearly 2 kilometers. Yes, just that! Moreover, one of the most idolized rooms is undoubtedly that of the "Emerald Temple". Necessary little info: the dress code is quite strict, you must cover your knees, your shoulders, and avoid wearing tank tops. Located in one of the most famous districts of Bangkok, "Phra Nakhon", the Royal Palace is open from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM every day.

Description: A long-tail boat ride, does that tempt you? Nicknamed the Venice of the Orient, Bangkok never ceases to amaze its visitors each year by making them sail on its many canals. It's not for nothing that it's called "The Grand Duke of Thai rivers". The "Chao Phraya" river plays an important role in irrigation and river transport, as it cuts the capital in two. It constitutes a beautiful walk, with pleasant temperature, and lovely shots on its route. It's clearly the kind of activities to do as a couple! In an excursion of about 1h 30, boat agencies take care of making you discover the city from another original angle. It will be an opportunity for you to understand how local life works by watching the Thais take care of their little daily tasks. Ready sailor?
3. The Wat Pho

Description: "The Temple of the Reclining Buddha" is of all beauty. This one contains the largest and most imposing statue in the entire country: 46 meters wide by 15 meters high. Covered with gold leaves, you can see at the back of the temple just behind the statue about ten bowls, with next to them urns containing coins: this is the worthy Buddhist tradition of alms. In addition to that, it is possible for you to take Thai massage classes (we know how much Thailand is renowned for its gentle medicine and its therapeutic virtues). A way for you to learn more about the history of the country, while relaxing! "Wat Pho" is located only 500 meters from the Royal Palace, and is open from 8 AM to 1 PM every day. A beautiful day ahead!

Description: "The Temple of Dawn" constitutes an essential place, as it keeps in memory certain terrible events that the capital and the country itself have experienced. We won't tell you more, you'll have plenty of time to discover all that during your visit. Placed on the banks of the "Chao Phraya" river, like a king sitting on his throne, "Wat Arun" takes its name from the god "Aruna", figure of Hindu mythology, which means "Aurora". The temple is actually an architectural version of "Mount Meru", which is none other than the center of the world in its greatest purity, in Buddhist cosmology. It's a place whose magnetic aura permeates our spirits and stirs all our senses. The best time to go there? Although it is open every day from 9 AM to 5:30 PM, we advise you to come at the end of the day, during sunset, when "Wat Arun" is illuminated!
