You are standing in front of one of Sydney’s most famous markets : Paddy’s Market, which includes not only the building before you but also a second site a few kilometers away, making it the largest in the city. Here, you are in the Haymarket area, once known as Campbell Street. Back in 1834, this street was home to livestock, hay, and grain markets. Over time, it grew into the big marketplace you see today, offering a wide variety of fresh products, clothing, jewelry, souvenirs, books, artwork, and much more! An authentic market with a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for discovering local specialties or finding a few souvenirs to take back with you!
