Carved from the dark volcanic stone of Volvic, this lovely church, built by the Carmelites in the 14th century, still watches over the medieval quarter of Clermont-Ferrand. Listed as a Historic Monument since 1961, it showcases the Southern Gothic style and features beautiful 19th-century stained glass windows crafted by Émile Thibaut. Though it may not be as grand as the cathedral, it remains a striking witness to the medieval era reflects the architectural charm of this historic city.
