Place Puget is warm, welcoming, and full of life. It’s a classical Provençal square located right in the heart of Toulon. Lined with cafés and restaurant terraces, it’s the perfect spot to sit back, relax, and take in the lively southern atmosphere. At one end of the square, you’ll find the Fontaine des Trois Dauphins, the Fountain of the Three Dolphins. Sculpted by Chastel and placed here in 1780, it was originally used as a watering trough for animals. Over time, the fountain has gradually become covered by plants, giving it a wild and almost magical appearance. The stone basin is decorated with three dolphins, their tails intertwined in a graceful spiral. Whether you’re here for a drink in the sun or just soaking up the local vibe, Place Puget is one of Toulon’s favourite spots.
