Arles enjoys a pure Mediterranean climate, characterized by scorching, dry summers where temperatures easily reach 30°C, and mild winters often swept by the Mistral wind, with daytime averages around 11°C. The ideal periods to discover its Roman remains and walk in the footsteps of Van Gogh are spring (April to June) and early autumn (September and October), offering exceptional light and temperate warmth. The month of July is also a highlight for art lovers with the launch of the Rencontres de la Photographie, while the Easter weekend allows visitors to experience the vibrant rhythm of its famous Feria in a festive and sunny atmosphere.
