The climate in Chambéry is semi-continental with a mountain influence, featuring cool to cold winters, generally between -1 and 7°C, sometimes accompanied by frost and fog, and hot summers, most often ranging from 25 to 32°C, with possible peaks during heatwaves; the best times to visit are typically from April to June and then from September to October, when temperatures are pleasant, the landscapes between lake and mountains are particularly beautiful, and conditions are ideal for enjoying the historic center and surrounding areas without the crowds of the peak summer season.
We design our tours as loops so you can easily start the visit from the closest point to you, with guidance that automatically adapts. If you are nearby, we recommend an ideal starting point: Espace Malraux
