Opened in 1827, this is the oldest existing pastry shop in Budapest. From royals, like Elisabeth of Wittelsbach, to ordinary people, like you and me – the shop has served generations of customers over the years! The Queen of Hungary had a soft spot for its sweet treats. She even had her wedding cake made by the confectionery’s pastry chefs! After almost 200 years, the quality hasn’t changed one bit.
