Can Corbella

You've probably been admiring it from the end of the street—this is the stunning Can Corbella building. A standout among Palma's architectural gems, its five-story structure is crowned with an octagonal tower. It was designed by architect Nicolau Lliteres in the late 19th century for the prominent Corbella family. He unified three adjacent buildings under a single Neo-Mudéjar façade—a style that harmoniously blends Christian and Moorish design elements and is widely found throughout Spain. The ground floor once housed the Can Corbella pharmacy, while the upper floors were reserved for the family. Today, its multicolored stained-glass windows, framed by horseshoe arches, give the current shops a dreamlike entrance and an unmistakable charm.
