This is the most iconic view of Granada, the one you’ll find on postcards, in travel books, and all over tourism websites! And for good reason, it offers a breathtaking panorama of the city’s most famous landmark, the Alhambra. As a bonus, the mountains in the background, sometimes snow-capped depending on the season, add even more grandeur to this already stunning scene. A must-see during your visit to the city, the Mirador de San Nicolás gives you a true sense of the splendour and scale of this Nasrid citadel, built from 1238 onwards and made up of various palaces, courtyards, and monuments that reflect a magnificent Arabic influence in their architecture. I’ll leave you to soak in this incredible moment, and it comes as no surprise, but the Alhambra is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site!
