Mirador del Salvador
Here, cross over and walk up to the low wall just ahead. From this viewpoint, the city almost slips behind you and only the vastness of the landscape remains. Before you stretches the heart of Andalusia: a sea of olive trees rolling across the valley and reaching all the way to the distant ridges of the Sierra Mágina. The plots form a neat patchwork, crossed by dusty tracks and winding lines that follow the natural folds of the land. On clear days, the horizon feels endless; at sunset, the light slides over the hills and gives the olive groves a soft golden glow. This is one of Úbeda’s most peaceful lookouts, a place that captures the beauty of the landscapes of the province of Jaén in a single glance.
