The Canary Islands are known for their mild, sunny weather year-round — hence their nickname, the ""Islands of Eternal Spring."" Due to its location, La Orotava gets more rain than other parts of Tenerife. It's a great destination all year long, but November is the rainiest month. Average temperatures: 20°C in spring, around 23°C in summer and early autumn, and 18°C in winter. If you plan to hike Mount Teide, bring a windbreaker, gloves, and a hat — even in summer — along with sunscreen and a cap. It gets cold above 3,000 meters!

Victoria Gardens (Jardines del Marquesado de la Quinta Roja): open Monday to Friday, 9 am – 8 pm; weekends, 9:30 am – 8:30 pm.
