It's no coincidence that London is known as the cosmopolitan Capital! Many of its districts reflect its cultural diversity, and Camden Town is a perfect illustration of this. A former industrial district of the capital, it is now known for its punk, goth and rock scene, making it a lively multicultural neighbourhood and a must-visit in London. What's striking about Camden Town is the host of shops with extravagant decorations highlighting the fronts of the colourful buildings, as well as the various flea markets selling unusual and original items, many of them have punk or hippy vibe. It's the perfect place to stroll along the canal and try to find a hidden gem among the thrift stores, record shops, and designer boutiques. Don't forget to look up from time to time to appreciate Camden's over-the-top decorations, which you won't find anywhere else, as well as the numerous street art adorning the walls.
