Locals and tourists come to this peaceful oasis to unwind and recharge, whether they're with their friends, family, or that special someone. You see, this green space was designed to give New Yorkers a taste of country life. Believe it or not, creating this empty, grassy space was one of the most expensive construction projects. But it was worth it, after all! The Meadow has hosted all sorts of cultural, sporting and educational events, attracting young and old alike.
