Brisbane sign

There’s truly no better place than here to capture your visit to Australia’s third-largest city. Designed and installed in 2014 for the G20 Leaders’ Summit—the intergovernmental forum of the world’s major economies—the Brisbane sign was only meant to be here temporarily. However, due to its growing popularity among both locals and visitors, the sign ended up staying, becoming a permanent part of the city. The original version, built by local volunteers, unfortunately didn’t stand too long against Brisbane’s strong winds and rainfall. That’s why a new, more weather-resistant replica was put up, and now countless travel photos are taken here every day. The setting is perfect, as Brisbane’s CBD skyline rises behind the giant letters. So, wait your turn to strike a pose—lying down, sitting, mid-air, serious, or making a funny face—next to the Brisbane sign. The most important thing is that the photo shows your true self, having fun in Brisbane!
