N Seoul Tower

This is one of the most iconic viewpoints in the Korean capital, offering a perfect glimpse of a typical street in the 600-year-old Bukchon Hanok Village, framed by the sleek, modern skyscrapers of downtown that began rising in the 1990s. Standing out among them is the star of the skyline: the N Seoul Tower, also known as Namsan Tower, which first opened to the public in 1980. You can see it here, rising higher than the rest thanks to its position at the summit of Namsan Mountain, towering over the city at 480 meters above sea level, with the tower itself reaching more than 236 meters in height. Needless to say, the 360° view from its observation deck is breathtaking, revealing sweeping panoramas of the city and the surrounding mountains. It’s an absolute must-see in Seoul, drawing around 8 million visitors each year and ranking among the city’s most popular attractions.
