A balcony over New York

Built in 1951 on the heights of Brooklyn, this platform of about six hundred metres was laid out to allow New Yorkers to escape the bustle of the centre and enjoy the air and the view. From the Promenade, you take in an exceptional panorama: One World Trade Center, the tallest tower in Manhattan, the famous Brooklyn Bridge, the Empire State Building in the background and, on the left, the emblematic Statue of Liberty.

The Promenade lines up its benches and trees facing the East River, offering an ideal viewpoint over the finest monuments of New York gathered in a single gaze. At sunset, when the skyline lights up, the spectacle is striking. It is one of the most prized places for photography and strolling, away from the frenzy of Manhattan.
