The Summer of LoveStep back in time to the psychedelic era, where the spirit of the “Summer of Love” still lingers on every pastel-painted façade. This route takes you through one of the city’s most colorful sides, from the refined elegance of the Painted Ladies at Alamo Square to the creative, free-spirited energy of Haight-Ashbury. As you wander, echoes of legendary guitars seem to drift through the streets, blending with the legacy of the counterculture and the calm greenery of the parks scattered across the city. It’s a walk infused with a sense of freedom, where history unfolds across painted walls and the timeless charm of Victorian architecture sets the stage for a boldly independent spirit.
