You’re now standing in front of the Finnish Parliament, designed by architect Pekka Helin, who won the design competition for the project. Completed in 2004, the building has nearly 300 offices and serves as the workplace for members of Parliament and their staff. Its contemporary design stands in striking contrast to the nearby traditional buildings, making it a distinctive feature of the cityscape. Take a moment to walk around the building to take it all in!
