Beneath your feet flows the Katajanokka Canal, which gives the district its name. It runs straight toward Helsinki’s South Harbour, a marina across the water. From this spot, you get a glimpse of two of Helsinki’s most iconic landmarks—its Orthodox cathedral and its harbour.
