Charruyer Park is the perfect place to take a nature break, as you wind your way along the canals. Standing in the heart of this wooded, flower-filled park, it's hard to believe that this was once a military site, located at the foot of the town's fortifications. It was thanks to Adèle Charruyer, who bequeathed the sum of 100,000 francs to the town on her death, that this park came to life in 1830, thus fulfilling her wish to create gardens to embellish the town. Nowadays, the park boasts a wildlife park and 40 hectares of vegetation where you can relax and unwind.
