Gardens reborn several times

The first gardens date back to the 19th century, created by Louis Lemaitre during the construction of the former city hall. Restored after the First World War, then destroyed during the Second, they took their present form in the 1990s, blending plants, stone and water to create a lively space. On one side, two birds sculpted in bronze form a memorial.
