Info Point

If this entrance to La Perrine Park is closed, please head back and use the main access instead. Then walk up Rue des Éperons and you’ll rejoin the route on your right, at Place des Quatre-Docteurs-Bucquet. This unusual name often sparks curiosity: it pays tribute to the Bucquet family, four generations of doctors who served at Laval’s hospital.

And in the middle of the square, don’t miss the Fountain of Patience. Installed here in 1956 but sculpted much earlier in the 18th century, it still bears a Latin inscription celebrating the arrival of water “pure and easy to access for citizens.” A little reminder of daily life in the past, when even clean drinking water was considered a precious treasure.
