Located in the lake area near Mahatma Gandhi Island, this open wooden pavilion overlooking the landscape is best known today for its public piano. Since 2013, it has allowed walkers, amateur musicians, and more experienced pianists to sit down for a few minutes and bring the space to life with music. The name Gandhi refers to the nearby island, which was renamed in honor of Mahatma Gandhi, in a section of the park associated with peace, serenity, and connection. Here, heritage is not found only in stone or grand monuments; it also lives through the way a place is used. In spring and fall, when the piano is installed, the pavilion becomes a simple meeting point, where a melody can draw in passersby, slow down a walk, or create a small shared moment beside the lake.
