

Le Champo
The name “Le Champo” probably doesn’t ring a bell, but this is where Emily and Luc went to watch a movie together in episode four of season two. A Listed Historical Monument, this building houses an independent arthouse cinema that first opened its doors in 1938. Since then, it’s been a favourite for film lovers, known for screening auteur films and hosting special events such as Les Nuits du Champo, an all-night movie marathon on the same theme. In this episode, Emily quickly realises that Luc chose a film about a threesome. And we all remember his cheeky reply when she points it out: “It speaks to you, doesn’t it?”. A teasing joke, but he’s not entirely wrong...
