A green stop on the Bayonne audio-guided tour, the Leon Bonnat public garden bears the name of the Bayonne painter to whom we owe more than two hundred portraits of personalities of his time, such as Victor Hugo, Louis Pasteur or Jules Ferry.
A park created in 1907
Created in 1907 and located a stone's throw from the Adour, this garden is much appreciated for family walks in the heart of the Basque Country capital. It is made up of two distinct parts: a French garden, with its many varieties of flowers, and a section laid out in the English style.
