We owe this beautiful private mansion to Antoine de Montrosier. Well — he didn’t build it himself, of course — but it was built for him. The Hôtel Montrosier de la Vilatelle dates back to the mid-18th century and is a fine example of rococo architecture, which was very fashionable at the time. A rather lovely home for this aristocrat from Clermont, don’t you think? Naturally, it’s listed as a Historic Monument.
