Panoramic views from the Dam terraces
Today, the Vauban Dam is home to a series of terraces offering superb views over Petite France, the covered bridges with the Grande Ile as a backdrop, and the cathedral peeking over the Alsatian roofs. The passageway, which offers free access to the roof of the dam, regularly houses temporary exhibitions, and hosts the cathedral's statues all year round. It's open 7 days a week, from 6am to 9pm. Roof access depends on the season, but it's generally open for most of the day. I hope you'll get a chance to climb up and snap your best Strasbourg shot.
