Place Saint-Michel

You’re now standing in one of the neighbourhood’s most beautiful squares! Do you recognise this fountain? You’re on Place Saint-Michel, and this is where Mindy first performed in public with her new band. She first sings the iconic French song Sympathique (Je ne veux pas travailler) by Pink Martini. Next, she performs All by Myself, composed and originally performed by Eric Carmen, and later made famous by Céline Dion in 1996. In this scene showcasing Ashley Park’s incredible talent, we quickly notice how Place Saint-Michel is a regular spot for street performers. During Mindy’s performance, several artists approach, including a mime who tries to steal the spotlight. Luckily, her performance is so captivating that she easily stands out – even with the mime trying to upstage her.
