Promenade Pasteur

You are now on the Promenade Pasteur, which links the Pont Neuf to the Pont Saint-Cyprien. This lovely, landscaped walk takes you back to the city centre while soaking up the natural surroundings on the banks of the River Clain. As you approach Saint-Cyprien bridge, you'll find the Jardin des Sens, a 7,000m² green space. It was designed by urban architects Gilles Clément and Marie-Cécile Allard to stimulate all 5 senses! Here you'll find a small green theatre, a pond, a mini bamboo forest, a wild meadow and shady paths. An ideal nature break in the heart of Poitiers.
