The Dolois Fresco

Take a look at the house on your right. It's a beautiful optical illusion! Artists from the Haut les Murs Collective painted this fresco back in 2017. It's right in the heart of the city and depicts some of Dole's most famous historical figures. You’ve probably spotted Louis Pasteur already – he's on the second floor, on the left. There's an information panel across the street that tells you the names of the other men and women depicted here. These are all people who have left their mark on the city's history and definitely deserve a spot in one of its best-known works of art.
