Vieux-Port of Menton

Just a stone’s throw from the old town, the Old Port is one of Menton’s most iconic landmarks. Stretching out here on your right along Quai Gordon Bennet, it’s lined with rows of pleasure boats set against the stunning backdrop of the Italian mountains. Originally, this was a traditional fishing harbour, but over time it’s been expanded and modernised, and today it welcomes leisure boats—much to the delight of sailing lovers. The port is also home to a string of restaurants, many of which serve fresh fish straight from the sea. Despite the changes, it has kept its authentic charm and remains a favourite spot for visitors, especially for a relaxed stroll along the docks as the day winds down.
