

View of the Lower City
While you're on the old fortifications, take in this beautiful view of the Grund district in Luxembourg's lower town. Located right in the centre of the capital, is one of the oldest districts in the city. There are references to a hospice as far back as the 14th century! Renovated in the 1980s, it is fast becoming the capital's new trendy place. Together with the Clausen and Pfaffenthal districts, it forms the lower town of Luxembourg. These three villages set along the river banks,allow you to enjoy an unobstructed view of Neumünster Abbey and its cloister dotted with yellow deckchairs.
