The Gouzous

Take a look at the street art on your left, you’ll be seeing these little yellow characters all over the island during your stay. Meet the Gouzous! Their name comes from a Réunionese expression meaning "the people." Though they’re faceless, they’re full of expression and always appear in unexpected places, humorous, warm, and instantly recognisable. They're the brainchild of graffiti artist Jace, who lives and works here in Réunion. His work has been exhibited around the world and he's internationally recognised in the street art scene.
