Dubai Mall
The Dubai Mall, the largest shopping centre in the world
The Dubai audio-guided tour takes you to the Dubai Mall. Next to the largest fountain in the world and the tallest tower in the world, the largest shopping centre was a must: with its 1.1 million square metres, the equivalent of fifty football pitches, the Dubai Mall impresses with its sheer scale.
More than a shopping centre
The Dubai Mall has some twelve hundred shops, including the largest gold market in the world and several hundred haute couture labels gathered in the Fashion Avenue. But it is not limited to shopping: there are also cafés, restaurants, a cinema, one of the largest aquariums in the world, an Olympic ice rink and an observation platform facing the Burj Khalifa.
What there is to see
Beyond shopping, the Dubai Mall is visited like a real attraction: the giant aquarium, visible from inside, the ice rink and the many entertainments make it a destination in its own right. It is also one of the best ways to reach the foot of the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain. Allow plenty of time, as the whole is so vast.
