A revived tradition of entertainment

Open since 1996, Pacific Park revived the tradition of attractions present on the jetty since the early twentieth century, when the Santa Monica Pier was already a major place of entertainment. Entry to the park is free, and everyone chooses their rides. It is a family park that continues the festive history of the jetty.

What there is to see

The park has a dozen rides, including the big wheel, one of the most famous in the world, and a seaside roller coaster. From the big wheel, the view over the ocean and the coast is incredible. With its lights and its atmosphere, Pacific Park is one of the most joyful symbols of Santa Monica.

Practical information

Pacific Park is on the Santa Monica Pier, above the beach. Entry to the park is free; each ride is paid for individually or through a pass. Opening times may vary with the season. Access is on the level from the jetty.
