Paris Las Vegas

You have probably noticed it for a while already, and now you are standing at the foot of the famous Eiffel Tower of Las Vegas. It is an impressive replica of the one in Paris, although it reaches only about half the height of the original, standing at around 165 meters, which is still quite remarkable. What makes it even more striking is its position, since it rises directly above several buildings inspired by some of Paris’s most famous landmarks. A little farther along you will come across a recreation of the Arc de Triomphe, the Opéra Garnier, and even the iconic entrances of the Paris Métro. Inside, you can stroll along a recreated Parisian street inspired by the 1920s, lined with restaurants, boutiques, and cafés. The large balloon you may have noticed from afar, especially when it lights up at night, is a giant decorative sign designed to attract attention and serve as a landmark along the Strip. Paris Las Vegas opened in 1999 and covers about 24 acres, immersing visitors in an atmosphere inspired by the French capital. The resort includes a casino overlooked by a replica of the Pont Alexandre III, a rooftop pool, and a performance venue known as the Paris Theater, where musicals and stage productions are regularly presented. Every evening, the Eiffel Tower lights up during a free light show that takes place every half hour. The observation deck offers spectacular views over the Strip, and the restaurant inside serves refined French cuisine with a panoramic view of the city. It is a tribute to France and to Gustave Eiffel, who designed the original tower, whose plans were even consulted to recreate this version as faithfully as possible. If you have the time, it is definitely worth stepping inside to explore this hotel-casino, one of the most recognizable on the Strip.
