If you cross here, you will arrive at a small alley that is definitely worth the detour. The LINQ Promenade is a fully pedestrian area that contrasts with the large enclosed complexes usually found in Las Vegas. Opened in 2013 by Caesars Entertainment, this open-air walkway was designed as a gathering place, connecting several well-known hotels such as The LINQ Hotel, the Flamingo, and Harrah’s, while offering a more relaxed, almost urban atmosphere right in the heart of the Strip. Stretching for a little over 400 meters, it leads directly to the High Roller, the observation wheel that rises above the entire district at 167 meters and remains the tallest in North America today. A full rotation takes about 30 minutes and offers a completely different perspective on the Strip. Above your head, you may also notice the Fly LINQ Zipline, which runs for more than 300 meters across the entire Promenade, making it one of the most unusual attractions in this part of the Strip. All around you, restaurants, bars, and shops line the walkway, creating a lively atmosphere with live music, outdoor terraces, and lighting installations that really come to life after dark. Originally designed to attract a younger crowd and offer a more accessible alternative to the neighboring mega-resorts, the LINQ Promenade has now become one of the main pedestrian routes between the major hotels in the center of the Strip. I will let you take a moment to explore it before we continue.
