View of the Lake

Before you is the famous Upper West Side, overlooking the lake and trees that make up the west side of Central Park. The Upper West Side is home to some of Manhattan's most prestigious buildings, with some of the highest rents in the metropolis. As far back as the 17th and 18th centuries, this was the area where the wealthiest of the wealthy came to live. This is still the case today, thanks to the construction of Central Park and the prestigious Columbia University. The rocky outcrop on the other side of the lake is yet another major attraction.
