We'd like to take a moment to briefly introduce you to other points of interest that we weren't able to squeeze into our itinerary. First up is the Saint Kilda district, home to Luna Park Melbourne, a historic amusement park. The area boasts some of the city's most famous landmarks, including the legendary Luna Park.

With its top-notch concert venues, bustling streets, multicultural shops, and year-round festivals, Saint Kilda is a haven for Melbourne's youth and globetrotters alike! Extra tip: head down to the beach to see the adorable colony of pygmy penguins at sunset. Another must-see is the picture-perfect Brighton Beach, with its cute, colorful beach huts!

It's just 15 minutes from the city center and definitely Insta-worthy! If you’re craving trendy bars and restaurants, head to Docklands, Melbourne's ultra-hip new district, built on the former Victoria Port. Take a ride on the spectacular Ferris Wheel for stunning views, relive the Gold Rush era on a cruise on the Yarra River, or stroll through the Sunday morning art and antiques market.

For a taste of authentic Melbourne, head for the Queen Victoria Market, a culinary and cultural hub. It's the largest covered market in the southern hemisphere. Art lovers rejoice!

The city is packed with interesting museums. If you're short on time, the National Gallery of Victoria and the Ian Potter Center are the must-sees. The NGV is the country's biggest museum and houses a fascinating collection of Aboriginal art.

Want to escape the urban buzz and enjoy magnificent views over Melbourne? Hike along one of its many trails, like the Capital City Trail, which takes you around the city to experience its natural beauty. Of course, no Melbourne trip is complete without a trip along the Great Ocean Road.

Don't have a car? No worries; hop on an organized tour and explore one of the world's most scenic routes. Don't miss the iconic 12 Apostles, the rock formations jutting out from the cliffs that have become the region's landmark.

For those with extra time, venture further and explore the Grampians National Park, a hiker’s and rock climber’s paradise, the Yarra Valley, for its beautiful wine route, and Phillips Island, just 2 hours off the coast of Melbourne. Here, you'll find stunning landscapes, renowned surf beaches, and you'll get the chance to see the world's smallest penguin species in the wild! It's the only place where you can see these adorable creatures in their natural habitat!

Don't miss it! You can find more information on the various activities described in the Melbourne Travel Tips section on our website.
