As you stroll along the façades searching for Namur’s hidden gems, a wide opening suddenly appears, revealing a lovely viewpoint. To the right of the Pont de France, which you’re about to cross, stand two or even three iconic Namur landmarks perfect for a truly local photo. Slightly set apart by its salmon hue, the Walloon Parliament often catches the eye first. Just beside it, Namur’s citadel commands attention with its strong military lines—looking even more massive from below. If you have a sharp eye, you might even spot the golden turtle from Jan Fabre’s Searching for Utopia, resting on one of the site’s lawns. And to complete this symbolic scene, the gentle waters of the Sambre flow quietly beneath your feet.
