The Toronto audio-guided tour invites you, for once, to look down at the ground. Launched in 1998, Canada's Walk of Fame honours, through a series of stars, the success and work of the country's great figures, along King Street West and Simcoe Street.

A distinctly Canadian walk

Although it is hard to compare with the flashier American version, this walk differs by the variety of fields of the figures honoured and by a particular requirement: you must be a Canadian citizen to appear on it. It thus pays tribute to the country's excellence in sport, culture, the arts and the sciences.

What there is to see

If you slow your pace, you will recognise the names of Canadian figures engraved in the stars on the pavement. It is a playful way to discover the cultural and sporting wealth of the country while walking through the entertainment district. The walk indeed begins near several major halls and institutions of downtown.

Practical information

Canada's Walk of Fame runs along King Street West and Simcoe Street, in downtown Toronto. The stars are freely visible at all hours, on the pavement, and are discovered on the level during the walk.
