Justice Building

To your right stands the Justice Building, designed in the same architectural style as the other Parliament buildings. It was constructed between 1935 and 1938 by architect Thomas Fuller. It used to be the Department of Justice, which is how it got its name, and before that, it was home to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Today, the building serves as an office space for Members of Parliament in the House of Commons. Despite all the time gone by, it has retained its grandeur and remains an important part of Ottawa’s parliamentary landscape.
