The SkyWalk, gateway to the underground city

The Toronto audio-guided tour takes you along the SkyWalk, an enclosed walkway built on the former railway lands. It is an integral part of Toronto's PATH, the famous underground pedestrian network that locals know well.

The largest underground complex in the world

The PATH is a network of pedestrian underground passages about thirty kilometres long, linking subway stations, office buildings, shops, hotels and shopping centres. This hidden labyrinth has been listed by the Guinness Book of Records as the largest underground shopping complex in the world, with a surface close to 372,000 square metres. The SkyWalk itself connects Union Station to the CN Tower area.

What there is to see

The SkyWalk offers a route sheltered from the weather, especially appreciated in winter. Along the way, you enjoy views over the city and direct access to the main sites of the district. It is a practical and original way to understand how Toronto has organised its pedestrian movement away from the street.

Practical information

The SkyWalk connects Union Station to the area of the CN Tower and the Rogers Centre, in downtown Toronto. A covered pedestrian walkway, it is accessible during the network's opening hours and on the level. It is part of the vast PATH network.
