Just behind you, a small park offers benches where you can pause for a moment and take in this postcard-perfect scene. For an even better look at the city, you can stroll out onto the pier to your right, which stretches into the sea and gives you a clear view of Republic Square and a close-up of the bell tower. Once you’ve snapped one of the best photos you’ll take in Split, we’ll head back the way we came to join the iconic Riva promenade, which will slowly lead us toward that mysterious bell tower.
